Dental Resources
Although we spend most of our time in a clinical environment, our team realizes that one of our main roles is that of educators.
Resource Centre for Patient Education
It is this realization that encourages us to take the extra time needed to talk to our patients about their overall dental health, not just treat their symptoms. People are continuously surprised by the overall importance of good oral health and the options available to them to regain and maintain it.
We encourage everyone to ask any questions that they may have when they are in our office but realize that not everyone has the questions “on the tip of their tongue”. It is just that reason that prompted us to create the Patient Education section with several interesting articles.

We follow strict guidelines set by governing bodies for dentistry, and by the Public Health Agency of Canada for all health, infection control, and safety related requirements, standards and protocols. Our practices include sterilizing reusable instruments by sealing them into packages and placing them in an autoclave, and safely storing for the next use. Disinfecting treatment rooms with adequate fallow time between patient visits; and using disposable products when possible. We always wear disposable gloves during exams and treatment, face shields, gowns, and other PPE’s for your safety. In addition, we implemented numerous health and safety measures specifically for COVID-19, including Plexiglas dividers, HEPA air purifiers in our operatories, mandatory face masks at all times for staff and patients, mandatory COVID-19 screening for every staff member and patient, as well implanting a vaccine policy for our team members, amongst many other measures. Patient safety and comfort is our top priority at Sedation Dental Group, and we constantly review, revise and update our safety policies as necessary and in line with all relevant safety regulatory bodies and their recommendations. Furthermore, during sedation procedures, we constantly monitor vital signs to ensure a comfortable and safe experience, and have instituted policies, training and contingency plans to ensure all patients are well protected and receive the best care possible.
We are a fee for service office but our team of administrators will be happy to ensure that your claim for any services will be submitted in a timely manner to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
